Driven by Social Purpose
Addis Ability grew out of Addis Guzo, a Swiss-Ethiopian nongovernmental organization that has been active in Ethiopia since 2012.
For years, Addis Guzo has been working with children and families who are often left behind simply because they cannot afford the support they need. Providing rehabilitation, mobility aids, and opportunities for people with disabilities is at the heart of our work.
Over the years, the organization's therapists have built up in-depth expertise in areas that were virtually unknown in Ethiopia: pediatric physical therapy, early intervention, and complex mobility solutions.
In 2025 alone, this work directly reached more than 3,500 people - the poorest of the poor.
Building on our many years of experience, Addis Guzo founded the social enterprise Addis Ability.
Here, you can receive professional, high-quality physical therapy. And since Addis Ability is part of a larger whole, 100% of our net profits go back to Addis Guzo to support people who have the least access to rehabilitation and mobility services.
These are our roots. And that is exactly what makes Addis Ability different.
